The Fees for the parking in the new campus will be for 3000 L.E per year and it is not an option to pay per semester, so if you think that the price is high cooperate with us in order to let the administration know that a lot of Students do not agree with this high fees. Send this mail on the following mails they are the ones responsible for the parking.

Subject: Concerning the AUC Parking Policy

Dear AUC Administration, Mr. Paul Donoghue, Dr. Ashraf el Fiki, and Provost Tim Soluvin,

I am…………………. . I.D………………. moving next semester to the new campus and I have many concerns in mind as many other students.
One of many major concerns is the AUC parking policy and fees in the new campus. The policy states that there are around 2000 parking slots available for students, faculty, administration, and staff. Students who are interested should pay 3000 L.E. per year where students have to pay it yearly and not pay1500 L.E. each semester.
I don't think that this policy is suitable for me as a student because:

1. 3000 L.E. per year is too much compared to what I used to pay in the old campus.
2. Putting in mind the annual increase in university tuition where the increase in tuition reached 10% increase for the undergraduates. Therefore, it would be too much to have an expensive parking fees and 10% increase in tuition at the same time.
3. Paying the whole 3000 L.E. in advance for the whole year is unreasonable. Students should be allowed to pay the fees per semester and not per year. Considering those who will graduate in the spring or those who just want to park their cars for only one semester and they will not be benefiting from paying for the spring semester. It is useless and waste of time to pay for the two semesters and then take the refund for the second semester only in case the student is graduating.
4. Having a bigger A-class new campus with bigger facilities and increase in tuition, parking should be free and available for students.

Kindly, consider my concerns as they are the concerns of many students on campus and are of a huge importance to them.
