Hi all,

Joined the group today, we had a Scala meetup yesterday where Mohan pointed me to this group. I am a software programmer with 4.8 yrs of experience working at Xpanxion. I just love to code be it Java, Scala, Ruby or anything else. I spend most of time exploring technologies and watching football - a big Chelsea fan :D

I have been going all crazy over Scala since a year now and roping in more people to start playing with this beautiful language. I like to share ideas and since this is my first post wanted to know if I can share things here or restrict it to meetup discussions. Maybe Harshad and Saager can share their thoughts. 

Anyways I want this post to have some takeaway, so below are a few API's which can bring some FP flavor to java:
