Episode 6 - Observer Pattern

I just thought I'd drop a line to say thanks. I wasn't aware of the
java.util.Observable and Observer interfaces. We had been
experiencing problems with our JBoss server 5.1 where the JGroups get
fouled up if one instance is restarted. We were using JMS to messages
to topics following the Observer pattern. The recommendation from
forums was to switch to JBoss 6 and we just can't do that at the
moment. I replaced the JMS Client server with Observable and Observer
for the time being.
