Disclaimer: I speak in no capacity whatsoever on behalf of the folks that run the code camp.  Just that I've been to a couple of them, like them, and wish they weren't so tilted in the Microsoft direction.  Although I am a double-agent for both the light and dark sides of the force, I do get sick of hanging around MS folk that don't know about a programming technique until there is a wizard in visual studio for it.

So the plug for the website:
www.socalcodecamp.com

It's in Fullerton (Los Angeles area) in late January.

I was just thinking that since Netbeans just got released, this would be a great excuse for Tor to do his legendary JRuby presentation.

I offer an unlimited supply of non-craptastic beer to any Posse member that will come down and give a presentation.  Just get your respective employers to spring for your other expenses.  The organizers are very actively interested in it NOT being a windows-fest, but apparently MS-oriented speakers get their expenses paid more often.

Anyone?

Brian
