I agree with Tor's sentiments from episode 374 and do not appreciate
when my friends and family link their Facebook account to their
Twitter stream. Sometimes I get blasted with RT and RT that I don't
want to deal with in Facebook.

In Facebook you can hide posts that are coming from Twitter. I
documented how to do this up on Google+.

Hope this helps Tor and others

On a related note, didn't Tor say that there's a way to "show less" of a user on Google Plus? I have tried and searched, but I cannot figure out how to do it.

Anyone?

Cheers,
Viktor

When you're viewing a particular circle (not the default “everything” stream), there's a little slider above the posts that allows you to specify more or less of that particular circle.

Sweet, thanks! The "over shares" circle is now created and taken to a minimum.. :)

I don't know, but I think if your oversharers are in other circles which are high, you'll still get them.  I set everything low or off by default and bumped up super close friends or specific topical circles when I have a strong interest in the content.
