How very refreshing to hear the Java Posse discussing Java again! There's plenty of Java programmers out there and there's plenty of material to discuss, so please keep it up guys - we want working Java developers talking about issues relevant to other Java developers. At the risk of being politically incorrect - if we want to hear about Scala, we'll listen to a Scala podcast, so please make this return to Java permanent!

Good to know - I'm catching up the backlog and wondering too where the Java news went. :-)

Agreed, it felt very different from the episodes these past months, much more technical, more enjoyable. Like the old days.

I don't mind the language digressions now and then but even these have been very superficial, especially when interspersed with ramblings about back up systems, random rants on Apple or conference dates.

This is supposed to be a coding podcast, here's to getting it back on track.

Right, but then again, I don't mind the occasional derailment. :-)

Great episode. The talk about interface vs abstract vs final was great!

This was the best podcast in months... years........

Its was great to hear about the trade offs and thought process that challenges even the most conscious and skilled API developer.
