java sdk vs java ee sdk

can anyone help me regarding my confusion

what is diff between java sdk and java ee sdk

and if i install java sdk for development and i want servelet development can i do without ee sdk

Raj SE is all the "standard" Java libraries for building applications - base data types (string, date, etc) and structures (map, set, list, etc) as well as a ton of utilities for dealing with threads, building GUIs, etc. See  http://docs.oracle.com/javase/6/docs/api/ 

EE is the "enterprise" edition which basically extends SE with capabilities to more easily build enterprise / networked applications. EE provides libraries for servlets, web services, DB connectivity, Java messaging, web based UIs and the like. Additionally, EE is more and more incorporating features.

If you're doing strictly desktop applications, SE is probably sufficient but in my experience it's fairly rare to be using Java in that space. Most people are using SE and some portion of EE. 

Servlets are part of Java EE (a small by but far most used part of it) so you need to use both SE and EE to create servlets. See http://docs.oracle.com/javaee/6/api/

None of which means there's any benefit to downloading the EE SDK as opposed to the actual servlet/app container you decide to use.  Maybe there is some benefit but I've never heard of one; up to now the extra SDK just seems to confuse novices.
