Submissions must be received by the elections committee by midnight (CST) December 10th, 2023. The positions on the JavaMUG Board are President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. The duties of the office are detailed on the website under the bylaws, but below is a brief summary of each:
- President - Schedules the speakers and runs the meetings
- Vice President - Backs up the President when he/she is not available and handles some organization maintenance and meeting gift drawings
- Secretary - Sends out announcements, updates the website, monitors the e-mail list and LinkedIn group
- Treasurer - Schedules the sponsors, handles the finances, and orders the pizza
