Submissions must be received by the elections committee by
midnight (Central Time) December 9th 2019.
The positions on the JavaMUG Board are
President,
Vice
President,
Secretary and
Treasurer. The
duties of the office are detailed out on the web site under the
bylaws but in general the President schedules the speakers and
runs the meetings. The Vice President backs up the President when
he/she is not available and handles some organization maintenance
and meeting gift drawings. The Secretary sends out announcements
and monitors the e-mail list and LinkedIn group. The Treasurer
schedules the sponsors, handles the finances, and orders the
pizza. If you do not wish to run for an elected office but still
would like to volunteer to help the group please email or email
