Hi Emeric

Could you please let me know the approximate amount of the performance
data sent to the collector server from the Agent deployed on an
Application Server which is running with a load of around 200 to 250
Transactions Per Seconds.

Warm regards
Prosenjit

Hi,

When using the optional collector server, the amount of data between the
monitored webapp and the collector server depends on the current load of
the webapp and on the resolution-seconds parameter.
And the stream between the monitored webapp and the collector server is
typically between 10 and 100 KB every 60 seconds (the stream is
compressed when it is above 50 KB).

And now, you can see by yourself. I have added the size of the stream in
the log of the collect server for each call. (When the stream is
compressed, the log gives the compressed size.)

It is in revision http://code.google.com/p/javamelody/source/detail?r=2828
And I have made a new build of the optional collector server from the
trunk and it is available at:

bye,
Emeric
