Description of Scope of Work: Define data acquisition architecture components. Lead ETL contract developer. Monitor SQL agent jobs, fix any failures. Work on assigned tickets: modifying existing ETL code, creating new ETL code and fix issues in ETL code. Work on tickets related to SSRS and SSAS.
Responsibilities include:
· Architecting data acquisition components
· Leading other ETL contract developers
· Designing, developing, and implementing data architecture, including overall ETL processes and architecture design
· Develop, enhance and maintain SSRS reports
· Create and maintain technical documentation
· Translate business requirements into technical code
· Ensure the best possible performance and quality in the code
· Adhere to IT change management processes to ensure changes are authorized, documented and tested before implementation in the production environment.
· Review and test other developer’s code
· Identify data sources and end points for data integration between the EDW and target systems
· Production support of the EDW load process and ETL semantic layer
Skillset Required:
· Strong background in SQL Server development, with proficiency in Integration Services (SSIS), Reporting Services (SSRS), Analysis Services (SSAS), stored procedure development
· Advanced SQL skills including query tuning
· Experience in defining EDW architecture
· Proficient in production deployments and debug production issues
· Experience leading other developers
· Experience building and maintaining SSAS cubes is preferred
· High attention to detail and ability to QA work of other team members
