Description:
Managing, Implementing, building-out infrastructure and operational support of major platforms we handle with multiple technology stacks: Siebel-CRM, OBIEE-11G and MDM
Performing end to end support for the Infrastructure build out/Application Configuration change/Code migration with 24X7 support. We have resources in different geographical locations for smooth Operations around the clock. This contractor’s schedule will be STL Day Time hours with the exception of technical issues on an as needed basis outside of STL day shift
- Install Siebel Servers and its components
- Configure and upgrade Siebel Servers and Components
- Siebel System Administration such as configuring application components, parameters, and configuration files; using the Siebel command-line server manager interface; logging and event management.
- Release migration between environments (repository & non-repository items), SRF compilation, and development user setup with Local DB.
- Administration of Siebel UI functionality
- Proactively monitor and manage batch jobs.
- Enforce application change control and migration strategy policies are followed
- Troubleshoot Seibel Server related issues
- Provide technical administration and migration support for various Siebel environments.
- Coordinate with various teams such as Web Server, Database and Integration teams
- Ensures that technical and validation documentation is completed as needed throughout the project lifecycle and support efforts to maintain a validated system state
- Be available on an on-call basis for recovery problems and system and application problems.
Required:
- Knowledge of: Siebel architecture, Unix, Shell scripting, Database administration, J2EE
- Experience with installation, cloning, load balancing and maintenance of Siebel Applications
- Strong knowledge on configuration, setup and upgrade of Siebel Applications gained through a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
- Applied Product specific patches and Mega post installation patches in ERP for Siebel modules
- Managing instances and monitoring the database growth
- Experience installing and working with Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE).
- Knowledge of Informatica.
- Must understand Siebel architecture and framework including understanding of Gateway Server, Enterprise Server and Siebel Server
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent knowledge of Siebel n tier environment and System Administration
- Experience working in a UNIX environment including shell scripting
- Experience working with Oracle Technical Support process
