ATR/AID/CPLC "oracle" as a standalone project?

A shameless plug: I've been working on a GlobalPlatform library/utility lately:

I'm (not-so-)old and lazy and usually like to re-use code if possible, that's one of the reasons I work with open source.

There's a piece of code in javaemvreader that is of interest to me: sasc.lookup.*;

I love Ludovic's smartcard_list.txt a lot (and always contribute if at all possible) and I also like the idea of extending such an oracle, to include

well-known AID-s and also CPLC information (masked, to include only "card type" information).

What about extracting something into a separate, easy to use, thin and self-contained library? Something that would work with text files, similar to smartcard_list.txt.
