Questions of a newbie - Tutorial and AR.Drone 2

Hi all,

I have seen javadrone on JAX conference in Mainz and I'm curious of how it works. Is there any short tutorial about how the API works? Or do I have to study the demo apps?
After a first glimpse of the project page, I am not sure if the API works with Drone 2.
