Hi all
I am using this to convert frame to bitmap.But it is taking so much time for conversion.
AndroidFrameConverter converter = new AndroidFrameConverter();
converter.convert(frame);
Kindly tell me some other faster way to convert frame to bitmap.

We'd probably need to use the native JNI interface "jnigraphics" to get
any kind of speed:
https://developer.android.com/ndk/guides/stable_apis.html
We could also use JavaCPP to map those functions to Java :)

Hi Samuel,
Any updates on this topic?
I am also trying to convert frame to Bitmap so that I can display the processed frame on Android screen.
It took around 700ms to convert each frame on my Alcatel idol3 device.

I think using OpenGL with a shader is the best option here, for example:
