My mistake, I set autostart of terminal using at^scfg="Userware/
Autostart","","0"
It starts immediately after power on, so Cinterion's Disable Auto Exec
program don't work...
Anybody know how to disable this autostart? Or maybe hard-reset
terminal somehow?

Hello Nikita,

I don't know if this approach works for every hardware/software version. I'm using v2.8.
1 - Connect TC65T (power off) and the computer with a serial cable (real serial, not USB).
2 - Then, connects with hyperterminal.
3 - Open ''Notepad'' and write AT^SCFG=?
4 - Copy the string AT^SCFG=?  (in order to paste very quick)
5 - Turn on the TC65T.
6 - After you receive ^START, paste the string and type ENTER (quickly)
7 - Magic!  =D  Change the value of Autostart.

I don't know exactly why this works, but helped me.

Hi Nikita,

Have you tried to restart the chip with AT+CFUN=1,1 ? Maybe it doesn't save settings instantly (that would make sense since the flash memory has a limited number of R/W operations) and making it restart by software will make it save the settings before shutdown. I don't remember having this problem.

Best regards,

The command at^scfg="Userware/Autostart","","0" really disables the
autostart, notice that you could setted the Userware/Autostart/Delay to
a very short time, a good time is 10. The autostart happens also in
charge only mode.

Ricardo, you're right! Problem is the short delay - it was mistakenly
entered
AT^SCFG="Userware/Autostart/Delay", "", 0
that causes no delay at all. I cannot enter any AT command using
terminal, it just starts the application immediately.
Is there any way to make terminal not to start the application? I'm
thinking about using OTAP to overwrite its program.

Thanks to Florent's PDU mode SMS generator - I rewrote the program in
the terminal using OTAP.
Seems that there is no other way to stop it autostarting with delay 0.

Hi,

I didn't understand the problem right the first time.

I'm glad my program solved you issue but Cinterion's program should work, I've used it many times. You have to read the manual to understand how to use it. It is very useful, because you set the AT^SJOTAP with some bad settings (it overrides the OTAP SMS parameters) and a 0 second autostart delay, you have no other choice than using Cinterion's program.

And yes, Ricardo is right, setting a short time is a good thing (because it enables the chip to start quickly) but you should always keep at least 1 second (AT^SCFG="Userware/Autostart/Delay", "", 10).

Best regards,

Hi, Florent!
Could you be so kind to tell me where can I find the manual on
Cinterion's program?
I've searched all I got and I think in IDS there is no mention about
this program and how to use it.

Hello Wilson,
You should not reutilize topics to ask another problem (this topic is
autostart problem). Please create another topic for this, and if you
wish help, please be more detalied in the version of the windows you are
using.

Nikita,
AT^SCFG="Userware/Autostart/Delay", "", 0 dosent set delay to zero, it
deactivates de autostart. You may entered delay 1 (and then you need to
be the flash to deactivate it!)
In Windows we have a tool to deactive autostart which came with WTK,
search for "Switch autostart off" in your TC65 programs menu, that may
solve your problem.

Yours
