Hi everyone, I'm a new user of TC65 and i'm trying to run the helloworld example of SMTK directory (inside eclipse examples).
I'm trying to compile these examples with netbeans 6.8 but i've got this error message:

cldc-run:

.

Java program is started inside the module without debugging.
Emulator is closed, while the java program is running inside the module...

I'm using windows7 and Siemens SDK rel. 3
Could anyone help me?
Regards.

Hi,

for me everything looks ok here. Netbeans simply copie jar/jad files
into ffs and runs the imlet. If you open the terminal window (TeraTerm
or Hyperterminal) using ASC0 or ASC1 then you should see some
system.out messages (if you use system.out of course)

cheers em

Hi,

Just a little hint :
The System.out stream is connected to the port defined in the AT^SCFG="Userware/Stdout" parameter. You can set ASC0, ASC1, USB, UDP (to send everything to a server, used in debug), NULL, FILE(to log everything).

So, you can use the ASC0 port to upload and launch the program and keep the ASC1 port constantly open to get the output of the java program.

If you want to get the System.out within NetBeans, you have to launch a debug session.

Best regards,

Hello Fábio,
I figured out you're a brazilian =p
If you wanna talk about TC65, send me a private message. I developed in TC65 a bunch of programs, so I have some experience with it. I recommend you post you doubts in this list, but you can contact me by email (or skype) in order to discuss about ideas.
Good lucky (with TC65)!
Bye bye.
