Hello Hugo!

My suggestions:
1) Try open SocketConnection to a webpage (on port 80), then try to read from it (and print what it reads). You will see if the problem is with HttpConnection.
2) Try to insert the SIM-card you use to a smartphone, to see if it can connect to internet with it. You will see if the problem is with SIM-card.

Best regards,
Nikita

Hi all,

I am using a Siemens TC65 modem and I am trying to access a webpage with my application but every time I try to call the getResponseCode() method occurs the following error: "An unexpected error occurred".

I am able to make a UDPDatagramConnection and a SocketConnection between two modems and successfully exchange messages between them. Although I get the same error if i use a SocketConnection and try to access a web page.

I also tried with AT Commands. When configuring an internet connection profile using AT^SICS I am able to open the connection with AT^SICO. But when using the AT^SISX to ping google.com or any other web page reaches the timeout (even with 10s). It still doesn't work if I use the IP instead of the DNS name. But i am able to ping the same sim card and other sim card under the same APN.

I would greatly appreciate any help or suggestions.
Thanks in advance!

Regards,

Thanks for your answer.
Yes, apparently my SIM cards are blocked to external internet connections.
Thanks for your support.

Best regards,
Hugo
