[Vídeo] Paul Fremantle shows you how Groovy can be used inside a
lightweight SOA framework - Apache Synapse - to make it easier and
simpler to manage REST, SOAP and other network communications. He
looks at how the combination of simple Groovy scripting inside a micro-
broker like Synapse can be used to manage load-balancing, failover,
versioning and other useful stuff.

Apache Synapse is designed to be a simple, lightweight and high
performance Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) from Apache. Based on a small
asynchronous core, Apache Synapse has excellent support for XML and
Web services - as well as binary and text formats. The Synapse engine
is configured with a simple XML format and comes with a set of ready-
to-use transports and mediators.
