Iconstyle heading in JAK

When I define an iconstyle using JAK, a default heading attribute
(<heading>0.0</heading>) is automatically created. The problem with
this is that I want my icon to display in the same way regardless of
the orientation of the map where the icon is placed. As far as I can
see, this is only possible if I don't specify a heading element at
all.

Is it possible to specify in my iconstyle that I don't want it to have
a heading attribute?

The same issue occurs with "scale" and I'd like to know how to make this artificial default go away as well.

Same problem with icon heading.
