J2ME how to set TTL in socket or datagram packets???????

Hello everybody,
I wrote a module that broadcast messages using flooding Alg. In some
cases I need to set Time To Live to 1. Actually, I am new to java and
J2me I tried but I did not find a single ref dealing with altering
packets headers in j2me.
I really appreciate ur help
