Hi all,
Just a reminder that Java 7 is out tomorrow. Ben and I have been spending lots of time with the Java 7 team at OSCON working through code samples with audiences. It's really exciting to see the quick support for spring cleaning your code with Java 7 features on Netbeans and IntelliJ.
We've also been talking to a bunch of the language guys (JRuby, Clojure, Gosu, Scala etc) about JVM language interop (without having to go through a Java class construct). If anybody is interested in joining us then please let me know!
For those who are interested in the book - we're in Final Review til the 10th of August and after that point the production process starts, we're hoping for the e-book to be ready by the Devoxx conference in November.

you are writing, that the final review is on the 10th of august, which
is 2 weeks, however half of the book chapters is still missing. So
where will be the book content update?

Hi Martin,
Although the chapters are going through the final review, Manning has not yet released them as MEAP chapters, not 100% sure why, we will chase that up.
