I haven't needed to update the code because it's working for me. I
suspect I'll have to do a java 5/6 grammar update sooner or later, but
since the sources I'm most interested in translating are still 1.4, I
haven't needed to do that update.

Me, too.

You can expect help from this member. I suspect you'd have help from
others as well.
What java library? During your port, keep in mind that you have the
option of specifying extra imports, search/replace strings, etc., via
the configuration module feature. See the ib.ext.cfg package for
examples.

I never heard back from Laurie, and I hadn't worked on that feature
myself. I'll take a look at it soon and get back with you.

You're very welcome. Please let me know how I can help further.
First of all, thanks for the quick response!

Hmmm, now that you mention, this could be the problem with the second
email "the possible bug" I just sent.

Maybe if I translate the library I'm testing, we can add that as a
success story =)

Excellent.

The library/program I'm trying to translate is:
http://pixybox.seclab.tuwien.ac.at/pixy/download.php
Which is rather complex for a first timer with java and java2python;
but I'll try it anyways.

You should mail Laurie!
