Hi there. I know the project is open source, but since I don't see any license listed I would like to ask if it would be ok for me to reference the project and the author in the thesis i'm currently writing on vectorized implementations for java matrix multiplication.

I used the benchmark tool to test various vectorized implementations against industry standard libraries and it's been of great use and I'm also planning to use the generated plots in the paper.

I'm posting here in case anyone else is curious about this.

Hi Hamod,

Thanks for checking about the license. It's been released under GPL v3. Added a license file that makes it easier to figure out. Feel free to reference the project and myself as the author in your thesis.

Glad you found it useful and I think lots of people will be interested in your results. I messed around with it a bit ago and don't think I maximized the potential performance gains. Let me know if you have any more questions.

Cheers,
- Peter

Thank you for the prompt answer!

I do have some interesting results on matrix multiplication when using the Vector API on top cache blocking.
I hope I can publish my results soon, probably as a github repo/blog.
