Position Summary:

 

My client’s software provides discrete manufacturers and product innovation companies with the most technologically advanced and comprehensive product cost management software available on the market today. They are looking for a hands-on senior architect and visionary to provide technology leadership and oversight on design, development and implementation of their product offerings.

Required Skills and Competencies:

·         10+ year’s system architecture experience

·         5+ years’ experience related to SaaS models leveraging REST protocols

·         5+ years Java development experience

·         Demonstrated success architecting multiple applications, including at least one significant Cloud application

·         Strong understanding of system architectures and modern technologies, including:

o    Containers

o    Micro services architecture

o    DevOps

o    REST

·         Experience with Enterprise system scalability, performance analysis, and high availability for SaaS

·         Expert in secure coding practices. Experience with OWASP and penetration testing

·         Strong knowledge of and experience with web application frameworks

·         BS in Computer Science or other technical discipline

 

Desired:

 

·         Experience with one or more ORM frameworks such as Hibernate

·         Expertise in database techniques/tools such as data modeling, Oracle, SQL. etc.

·         Experience configuring and tuning virtual private/public clouds, preferably AWS

·         Experience designing and implementing distributed systems
