Hi,

I have imported some apps from the sdk I use under nbandroid. They all do not conform in the directory structure with java-ide-droid. I have arranged them manually, had to add libs, gen and bin and twiggle to compile. When I run the app on my galaxy note 10.1 the app starts, displays part of the gui and dies. My question is: Does this tool support ICS and a newer java version than 1.4? I am not convinced that upgrading to pro will solve these problems. Can anyone please clarify this? I downloaded version 11 not 8 of the java-ide-droid sdk.

Thanks
   Rafael

Hi Rafael

Yes, JavaIDEdroid supports Android 4.x
In fact, according to the statistics over 78% of the installations are on Android 4.0 or higher

It also supports Java version > 1.4
I myself normally compile for Java 1.5 but I have also compiled for 1.6 as well.

Please check the catlog - this might help you understand why your app dies.
You might also want to add debugging messages into your app.

I've used Android API 17 successfully.
