error occuring with aapt

Hi guys... I am new to JavaIDEDroid.
I am getting message that aapt failed. I don't know how to use aapt. So I think its my fault. I left aapt empty. How to fix it. Remember I am getting message when I try to build or compile the project. I just created new project, gave necessary info like paths. And then I compiled. It shown the error. Thanks for any help.

Tom, I followed all the steps. Also, changed my directory. But when I compiled, it shown a popup : "AAPT failed". And text appeared on screen with some functions about using adapt I think. It also contained this part : "ERROR - Project directory does not exist".
And previously when I entered some other details like api18, compiled it. It shown "EROR - Unable to enter directory.
I am using Karbonn A18+ device. It is Android 4.2.2 JellyBean. Thanks.
