My VM param -Ddns.server= -Ddns.search= are all default.

Some emails seem to succeed. Any ideas ?

It does seem like a DNS issue. Can you use the DNS tool sent with JES
to test the lookups?

I would like to add that at times DNS lookups tend to fail.
Maybe it's because of timeouts. Still, it is handled as
a transient error so that the message is kept in the queue
until it is sent or the time delivery limit is reached.
