Position: Lead Performance Engineer
Location: Atlanta, GA or Nashville, TN - (Hybrid - ((Atlanta people must need to relocate to Nashville))
Duration: Long Term Contract

Need Only Locals (F2F Interview)

Job Summary:
Lead performance and chaos testing to validate scalability, resiliency, and fault tolerance of Pie services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and execute load and stress tests using K6
• Design and run chaos scenarios using Gremlin
• Analyze CPU, memory, startup time, and threading metrics
• Recommend configuration tuning and HPA improvements using Terraform
• Validate system behavior during failures and network disruptions
• Produce performance and resiliency assessment reports

Required Skills:

• 8+ years in performance and reliability testing
• Strong hands-on experience with K6 and Gremlin
• Kubernetes, HPA, and cloud performance tuning experience
• Ability to interpret metrics and provide actionable insights
• Experience integrating performance testing with pipelines
