Job Description:

Innover Global is looking for an experienced Apache Hadoop Administrator / Platform Architect to design, manage, and optimize enterprise Hadoop platforms. This role requires strong hands-on expertise across the Hadoop ecosystem, including administration, architecture, data processing, security, and ETL operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Architect, implement, and maintain enterprise-scale Apache Hadoop platforms

Administer and support Hadoop clusters, ensuring high availability and performance

Manage and tune HDFS, YARN, and MapReduce components

Develop and support data processing using Apache Spark and PySpark

Work with Hive and HBase for data warehousing and NoSQL solutions

Design and support ETL pipelines on Hadoop using Spark, Hive, and SQL

Implement and manage data security (Kerberos, Ranger, Knox, access controls)

Monitor cluster health, troubleshoot production issues, and perform capacity planning

Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and application teams

Ensure compliance with enterprise security and data governance standards

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong experience as a Hadoop Administrator or Platform Architect

Hands-on expertise in:

HDFS

YARN

MapReduce

Apache Spark

Hive

HBase

Strong working experience with PySpark and SQL

Solid understanding of ETL concepts and big data pipelines

Experience with Hadoop security frameworks (Kerberos, Ranger, Knox preferred)

Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills

Nice to Have:

Experience with Cloudera / Hortonworks distributions

Exposure to cloud-based big data platforms

Experience with workflow tools such as Oozie or Airflow
