Role: SAP Technical Consultant (ABAP + ECC EHP8 Upgrade to S/4 Hana ERP)

Project Experience Required: EHP (Enhancement package) 8.0 (UPGRADE AND PROCESS)
Key Responsibilities:
· Strong ABAP programming skills, including ABAP Objects.
· Deep understanding of the ABAP upgrade process.
· Ability to analyze SAP Notes and OSS Notes.
· Understand phases of the EHP upgrade process, including planning, preparation, execution, and post-upgrade support.
· Perform SPAU/SPDD resolution, analyzing and adjusting custom code to ensure compatibility with the new EHP version.
· Conduct impact analysis to identify affected custom code and potential issues.
· Develop and implement remediation strategies for custom code impacted by the upgrade.
· Execute unit testing and integration Testing to validate the functionality of upgraded code.
· Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and resolve any issues identified.
· Work closely with functional consultants, other ABAP developers, and basis administrators to ensure a smooth and successful upgrade.
· Working with Functional Consultants, solution architects, SMEs in developing solutions.
· Explore, design, implement and deploy SAP solutions to achieve defined business goals.
· Play Crucial role in EHP Upgrade by managing custom ABAP code and objects to new version.
· Need to identify custom ABAP programs, functions, and other objects that might be affected by the EHP upgrade.
· Build, test, and deploy programming objects required for SAP modules.
· Providing technical support to business users, resolving issues.
· Providing seamless integration between SAP modules and with any other connected systems.
· Provide technical support in Developing and implementing customizations and enhancements in SAP modules to meet business requirements.
· Support integration testing, UAT.
· Maintain detailed documentation supporting technical specifications.
· Provide support post Go-Live and to address any issues that may arise after the upgrade.
