Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in Software/Application Support or AMS roles
  • Strong understanding of SDLC , Agile and ITIL processes
  • Hands on experience with:
    • .NET /Optimizely and Azure
    • SQL and database troubleshooting (Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL, PostgreSQL)
    • Application logs, monitoring tools, and debugging
  • Experience with  ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Azure DevOps)
  • Knowledge of Unix/Linux or Windows servers
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
  • Experience with  cloud platforms (Azure)
  • Domain knowledge -eCommerce
  • DevOps exposure (CI/CD )
  • Experience supporting 24x7 production environments

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide Application Management Services (AMS) support for enterprise or customer facing software applications
  • Handle incident, problem, change, and service request management as per ITIL processes
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, data, and configuration issues
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes
  • Monitor application performance, availability, and health
  • Perform bug fixes, minor enhancements, and configuration changes
  • Support application deployments, patches, and upgrades
  • Work closely with development, QA, infrastructure, and business teams
  • Maintain SLA, KPI, and operational metrics
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles
  • Participate in on call/shift support as required
  • Ensure compliance with security, audit, and change management standards
