Our top client, located in the Philadelphia PA, is currently seeking a BI Developer, resource to join their organization. Job Role: BI Developer (Strong Oracle, AND SQL Server AND Scripting)
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Location: Philadelphia PA
F2F Required

MUST HAVE:
Oracle
SQL Server
Scripting
ETL

 

Responsibilities
Xfinity Home Business (Reports/ Analytics Team)
Need someone to own the existing Xfinity Data (Teradata) and I-Control data (Oracle DB) and transform data into a uniform structure into SQL Server.

 

Will be required to have experience with:
Oracle
SQL Server
Teradata
Tableau
Manager is Okay with a Developer in replacement of an Architect
ETL is also important (preference towards SSIS)

 

Nice to Have:
Hadoop
Hive
Python

 

Knowledge and Skills
Advanced SQL coding skills with the ability to develop new logic as well as interpret, modify, and enhance existing queries
Strong knowledge of database query tools such as Teradata SQL Assistant and SQL Server Management Studio
Advanced knowledge of BI/Reporting tools such as Tableau and SSRS
Advanced Excel modeling skills (pivot tables, advanced functions, Visual Basic etc.)
Scripting knowledge with Python / Unix shell scripting
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Strong organizational skills, detail oriented and process-driven, with an orientation toward continuous process improvement
Strong time management and prioritization skills with a demonstrated ability to execute against multiple projects, adapt to changing priorities, and excel in a fast-paced, results-oriented work environment.
Analytical with strong problem solving ability
Proactive and self-directed in work habits
