We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented AI/ML Data Engineer with strong Python expertise and hands-on experience in LLM frameworks such as RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and Vector Search. This is a W2 position based in Alpharetta, GA, with a hybrid work schedule requiring 3 days a week onsite. The ideal candidate will be local to the Alpharetta or greater Atlanta area, and possess a strong foundation in AI data engineering, prompt engineering, and cloud-based data integration.
· Design and develop AI-powered data solutions with a focus on extracting insights from structured and semi-structured data.
· Work with LLM frameworks and architectures like RAG, integrating with enterprise data sources such as Snowflake.
· Build and maintain scalable ETL pipelines using tools such as IDMC, Spring Batch, and Autosys.
· Integrate data from platforms like Genesys Cloud, Salesforce, and various internal/external APIs.
· Implement OpenAI and other LLM model integrations; craft prompts for advanced AI insights.
· Collaborate cross-functionally to support transformation of legacy platforms into scalable, cloud-based reporting systems.
· Utilize Power BI, Grafana, Elastic Search, and SQL Server to develop real-time dashboards and data visualizations.
· Ensure best practices in code quality, automation, deployment, and documentation.
· 7–10 years of experience with Snowflake, SQL Server, and related data engineering practices.
· Advanced Python programming skills; Java experience a plus.
· Hands-on experience with LLMs, Vector Search, RAG, and prompt engineering.
· Proficiency in designing scalable ETL processes and orchestrating data tasks.
· Experience with data governance, quality assurance, and performance tuning.
· Familiarity with Genesys PureCloud APIs, IVR/Routing flows, and reporting design.
· Strong background in working with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and modeling.
· Experience in large-scale platform transformations and Agile development environments.
· Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
· Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
· Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (H1B, H4-EAD, Green Card, or US Citizen).
· Must be available for 2 interview rounds – one via Zoom and a final in-person round in Alpharetta.
