Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst or Software Lead to help lead and drive strategic pharmaceutical projects from end to end. This individual should bring 15–20+ years of overall experience, with strong leadership capabilities, and deep domain knowledge in pharma, clinical research, healthcare, or medical device manufacturing.
The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business and technical teams, leading requirement gathering sessions, defining functional specifications, and enabling successful execution under aggressive timelines. Candidates with SAP Supply Chain Planning and Global Biologics experience are strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead business analysis efforts across large-scale pharma or clinical projects
· Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate complex business needs into functional and technical specifications
· Evaluate current systems, identify gaps, and propose process improvements that deliver measurable value
· Serve as a liaison between business units and technical teams to ensure seamless communication and project alignment
· Drive solution delivery and ensure alignment with project goals, timelines, and quality standards
Domain Expertise Required:
1. Pharma & Laboratory Operations:
o Deep understanding of pharmaceutical processes and lab instruments such as HPLC, LIMS, ELN, EMPOWER
2. Data Integration:
o Experience working with TetraScience, APIs, and managing ETL/data pipelines
3. Semantic Data Modeling & Ontologies:
o Familiarity with Allotrope Ontology, metadata tagging, and semantic frameworks
4. Collaboration with Data Science Teams:
o Ability to translate business use cases into actionable data requirements
o Basic understanding of data science tools, workflows, and outcomes
5. Core Business Analysis Skills:
o Proficiency in stakeholder engagement, requirements documentation, and business process modeling
Preferred Experience:
· Global Biologics domain knowledge
· Hands-on experience with SAP Supply Chain Planning
· Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive project success
