I may have missed it if this issue has already been resolved, but do
we have a test wiki that we can use for trying out the import?
COASPedia is still down, and from what Daniel said, it sounds like
it's down for the count.

I just installed MediaWiki to a little test server I have here at
home. I wanted to try it out, and it was ridiculously easy. It's
here: http://chrisbaloney.com/wiki/index.php/Main_Page. So, we could
use this if we don't have any other alternatives. It's served by a
pretty old feeble laptop, so be gentle -- don't import thousands of
articles at a time and expect it to work.

The import page is here:
http://chrisbaloney.com/wiki/index.php/Special:Import. I just
imported http://chrisbaloney.com/wiki/index.php/Open_Access_Week, from
an export file I generated on Wikipedia, and it worked fine.

We can use
http://species-id.net/
for import testing. Preferably, the article names would be prefixed
with "Draft:".
