Hi,
yuan,
What you are doing looks all right.
I have further tested what you've done in Ubuntu 14.04 and Linux 3.10.0-327.28.3.el7.x86_64. I cannot reproduce your problem. It seems that you have memory issue (that allocated to JVM) in your system.
You may try to ask help from your system admin, or add more memory or run with latest version of JDK.
For the "could not load the main class" issue you mentioned separately, you need to double check whether jate.2.0.jar located in expected directory. It is a problem of the jar not found in specified path.
You can set a full path of jate.2.0.jar to avoid this problem.
I will send you the data i generated in a separate email.
Hope it helps,
Jerry
