Hello,

Thank you in advance for your time and help. I'm so grateful for the help I've already received.

When I run the following command (inside a directory containing my corpus subdirectory and solr-testbed subdirectory):
java -cp jate-2.0-beta.7-jar-with-dependencies.jar uk.ac.shef.dcs.jate.app.AppCValue -corpusDir corpus_elovl_txt -o cvalue-terms.json testdata\solr-testbed GENIA

Here is the first bit of output that pops up (the rest of the errors are included in error.txt, attached):

2018-06-22 11:16:05 INFO  AppCValue:353 -  [28] files are scanned and will be indexed and analysed.

Hi

We have received a couple of messages from you. Could you please clarify which issues are still not resolved?

As for this error, can you please ensure to use beta.11 (your message indicates you are using beta.7) and see if that fixes the problem?

Thanks

Hello Dr. Zhang,

Thank you for your patience and time. This is issue is not resolved, but thanks to your help the previous issue is.

I downloaded beta.11 from the Nexus repository, and ran the following command (same as previous time but with beta.11):
java -cp jate-2.0-beta.11-jar-with-dependencies.jar uk.ac.shef.dcs.jate.app.AppCValue -corpusDir corpus_elovl_txt -o cvalue-terms.json testdata\solr-testbed GENIA

Unfortunately the error messages remain. I have attached them in error.txt.

Sincerely,
Patrick

Hi, Patrick,

The stack trace shows clearly that you have used our previous v5.3.0 solr configurations with latest Solr version. Please make sure that your solr core/collection configurations are consistent with the Solr/Lucene version you are running with. If you are coping any default Solr setting from our 'solr-testbed', you have to update the configuration to match your Solr version. In your case, the easiest thing for you is to reindex your data wit properly configured Solr database. Please follows the instructions from both Solr documentations and JATE2 available documentations.

Sorry for the late reply. We only have limited time on support the use of jate2 at the moment. We appreciated that we haven't updated all the information about recent upgrade on latest Solr version in our repository. We will try our best to continue on improving JATE2 and fix bugs if there are more potential interests from the community that can be seen.

Thanks,
Jerry
