I have just started using home-assistant.io with a cheap zwave stick on a RPI 3. It is amazingly easy to setup and runs extremely well on an RPI3.  Also, it has some AMAZING INTEGRATIONS!

Below is there plugin for Jasper, but I have to give this one my vote people!

Thanks for posting this Matt.

home-assistant is awesome though I still have some questions about the
flexibility of the UI (compared to OpenHAB).

This is probably the last little push I need to switch though.

Sure, I do as well. I am still in the POC phase; but I must say. I am 1000x more impressed than I am was with OpenHAB. To me the UI isn't that important; its what it does. Since you shouldn't be in the UI all the time if you automate things.

That being said, I don't think that will be a problem.  I have added zwave devices, cameras, plex server, routers, remote ssh commands, and they all display w/o an issue.  Formatting it a bit might be something I look into as well.

You would need to create a module for that.  Or you can use the home assistant that is installed on there.

Go to the components section of home-assistant.io and read around might be another option.
