Fatal destination path error while installing jasper.

I used the image from this group and I am now trying the install jasper part (http://jasperproject.github.io/documentation/installation/#install-jasper) but after typing:

git clone https://github.com/jasperproject/jasper-client.git jasper

I am getting an error which says:

fatal: destination path 'jasper' already exists and is not an empty directory.

What should I do?

The directory in which you are running the git command already contains a folder named jasper
Either delete the folder and rerun the command or `cd` into the jasper folder and run:

git clone https://github.com/jasperproject/jasper-client.git .

to download jasper into the current directory.
