Text input on Jasper

Is it possible to give text inputs to Jasper instead of giving a speech input? Since the audio jack cannot be used for inputs, what is the alternative in case a USB microphone isn't available? How is Jasper supposed to be configured in that case?

Hey there, I'm working on porting Jasper to Python 3 currently and I'm certain there is a way to inject text input but don't have the exact method in front of me right now. That was likely not in the original project scope but if this is of interest, you can send a feature request in github. The code porting process is being maintained at  https://github.com/aplawson/jasper-client/tree/jasper-client-python3
