Hello, I am studying a TF that I am very interested in :MECP2, but I do not find this TF exists in all versions of JASPAR, may I ask how to get this TF in JASPAR2022R package, or can you add this TF in the database?
thank you.

Thanks for the note. It is unclear whether MECP2 is a DNA binding specific TF so we did not include it in JASPAR. It has also been removed from the HOCOMOCO database.

Thank you for your answer. I have inquired xx database and MECP2 is still in it. I hope to add MECP2 to the R package of JASPEAR. How should I complete the operation?

Thanks for the inquiry. As I previously wrote, we are not convinced that MECP2 is a DNA-binding-specific TF. As a consequence, we do not plan to include it in JASPAR without further evidence.
