Hi,

Could you please clarify how pseudocounts are determined for motifs in the JASPAR database? Are they set to a fixed value, or is there a specific function used to calculate them based on the input?

Dear Maggie.

Thanks for reaching out. We do not use pseudocounts in the TF binding profiles stored in JASPAR as they are provided as position count matrices.
