species selection issue

I am trying to use species selection, but I cannot select any specific species. Please help to find out what went wrong, thank you.

Hello Hui Xiao

I think you mean the species button in the 'advanced options' ?

Let me check with the team if this is a bug. 

Even when the motifs have the species as part of their metadata, the principle of JASPAR is taxon-wise motif collection instead of individual species.
I recommend you to use the whole collection of your taxon of interest

Dear JASPAR team, 

I also have experience the same species selection problem, specifically homo sapiens nor mus musculus (mouse) does not select or populate in the species field (and you can see in the snap shot Jamie provided above that the species column is blank). I absolutely loved the 2020 release of JASPAR and have been struggling for the past couple weeks with the species function and was worried it was just me forgetting how to use this incredible tool.  Thank you for looking into this problem.

Thanks for let us know about this issue.

We are currently working on it (and in other bugs/inconsistencies that other users have founded), as we are working for the Jaspar 2022 release we are making constant changes in the DB content, but the final and stable version will be ready in the  upcoming days
