I'm also looking at replacing the jib, staysail and mainsail for offshore work. Any sail makers you may recommend in the Bellingham, Blaine, Pt. Townsend region who are familiar with the Jason sail plan and who do outstanding work at reasonable prices?

I strongly recommend Carol Hasse at 'Port Townsend Sails'. I've known Carol
for many years and she puts out a top quality sail at a very fair price.

Certainly Carol Hasse is an excellent choice. in addition, I would like to put in a good word for the Schattauer brothers, Frank and Axel, whose loft is across the street from Shilsole Bay Marina, in Seattle. Carol actually apprenticed with Franz Schattauer, Frank and Axel's father.

The Schattauers built my main, a light and a heavy Yankee, a staysail, a storm job and a storm trysail for my boat, Norwegian Steam. All excellent sails.
