I have seen several pilothouse Jasons. One that I remember was in the little marina on Coon Bay off the Hood Canal.
I wonder if the pilothouse version was built by Miller Marine, the yard on Bainbridge Island that built the majority of Jasons? What is the HIN of your new boat? The HIN of my Jason, Norwegian Steam, is MMR34010MY61. Broken down:
MMR: Miller Marine
34010: A Miller 34, the 10th hull out of the mold. (The Jason 35 brand name had not yet been invented.)
MY61: Unique identifier for my hull (I think).
By the way, there is also another Brewer-designed boat with an identical hull, except that the stern is square. I learned this when Norwegian Steam was moored next to such a boat, owned by a Brit named John Aldus, in Marina de la Paz, La Paz, Baja Sur, Mexico. The last time I was in La Paz, a couple of years ago, John Aldus and his boat were still there. I wonder whether or not Ted Brewer got paid anything for that design?
