Coonecting to telcos like Airtel

Hello Guys,

How can i integrate Jasmin SMS gateway directly with a service provider like Airtel/Safaricom etc. I have been working on jasmin and sent successful other smsc and sent mt messages successfully but anyone who has an idea how to connect jasmin with a telco service provider?

Hello Davis,

You will need to contact the telco to provide you with an SMPP account. 

The connection to provider may or may not require a VPN connection depending on the provider.

Thank you for the quick feedback, so is there any other approach that you can connect/bound Jasmin sms gateway to a service provider apart from SMPP connection? or the only way to use is through SMPP connection

Hello Davis,

SMPP is widely accepted.

But once you contact the telco they will provide you with available options such as SMPP, REST API and SOAP API.

Thank you, i have actually contacted the provider, Safaricom . They have provided me with SOAP API endpoints. But do you have any steps how to integrate to the provider using SOAP API. kindly would you provide me with basic procedure i explore more. Thanks for your feedbacks

I haven't dealt with SOAP API,

Possibly a commercial plugin from Jasmin team could help
