Availability of CA 12-5 and CA 15-3 (Tumour Markers) tests form Chem Path Diagnostic Lab

As promised in my earlier email , with regards to the availability of
Tumour markers tests,
as of today , the following Tumour markers tests are available in the
Chemical Pathology
Diagnostic Laboratory :
1. CA 125 (Mammary)
2. CA 15-3 (Ovaries)
3. PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen)
4. AFP (Alpha-Fetoprotein)
5. CEA (Carcinoembryonic antigen)
Please phone the Chem Path Diagnostic laboratory (Ext 2732 / 2738 /
2737) for request of
the above tests to be carried out.
For the above tests , the laboratory would need at least 3 ml (preferably 5
ml ) of whole blood collected
into a plain container ( to obtain Serum) , and the results will be
available in 2 weeks after receiving the
samples. If the results are required earlier , please enquire from the
lab if it is possible.
