Hi its me again

Hi well thanks to your answers I solved the problem of creating a new
project.Now I'm trying to attach clients to the project as this link
http://jarifa.unex.es/wiki/wiki/QuickstartClient describes, well my
acconut mannager is at this url 10.2.70.10/jarifa and I have alredy
created the acconuts for the clients, but when it ask for my
credentials it says that the authentication failed.

I supposed the credentials were wrong but when I authenticate directly
to the server I succes.

What should I do?

Hola tras haber solucionado el problema anteriormente posteado gracias
a sus respuestas me encuentro en un nuevo problema al intentar
adjuntar clientes al proyecto, segui paso a paso lo descrito en este
link http://jarifa.unex.es/wiki/wiki/QuickstartClient pero cuando
este me pide las credenciales de autenticacion la autenticacion falla.

Pense que estaba introducinedo mal los datos pero cuando me autentico
en la direccion en donde esta el administrados Jarifa que se encuentra
en la siguiente direccion 10.2.70.10/jarifa
este me da acceso.

que debo hacer??

Hi,

In the BOINC client's folder you will find two files that give you
some debug information: acct_mgr_reply and acct_mgr_request. Check
both of them to see if there is an error sending the information.

It is important that you create a supplier account (not root or
allocator) or a volunteer one to attach boinc clients to Jarifa
(remember that you have to attach to Jarifa using the Account Manager
window, not the project).

Check everything, and post your results.

Hola que pena responder tan tarde.

 

No encuentro los archivos acct_mgr_reply y acct_mgr_request en la carpeta BOINC donde instale el cliente, y he verificado que los usuarios sean suppliers. pero no se que hacer el error sigue siendo el mismo y sigo sin poder adjuntar hosts al administrador de cuentas, quiero recordarles que estoy trabajando sobre un cliente windows XP y quiza ese log se genere para un clinte linux.

 

Adjunto aqui unos screen shots de como estan configurados los clientes y del error que sale al intentar adjuntar los hosts, perdon si no se puede visializar el archivo en .doc ahi hay otros screen shots que tal vez les interesen.

Me podrian decir donde puedo encontrar informacion o un manual de como manejar el pool de usuarios, con que configuracion es recomendable para cada uno de los campos.

Hola Fernando,

El error que te da Jarifa es sobre añadir el equipo a la base de
datos, por lo que la autenticación sí funciona. Revisa los permisos de
la base de datos y del usuario, no vaya a ser que una tabla esté sin
permisos para añadir el computador.

Los ficheros que te comento tienen que estar instalados en la carpeta
principal de BOINC. Mira en c:/Archivos de Programa/BOINC o algún
sitio por el estilo, pues ahí tienen que estar dichos ficheros.

Lo dicho, el error es que no puede añadir el cliente a la BBDD y la
autenticación sí funciona.

Por favor, NO utilice formatos de archivo propietarios para el
intercambio de documentos, como DOC y XLS, sino HTML, RTF, TXT, CSV
o cualquier otro que no obligue a utilizar un programa de un
fabricante concreto para tratar la información contenida en él.
