Important Alert to SBI ATM holders

Dear residents of Jaihind,

If you have an SBI ATM Debit Card and  used the Card recently (Within a month) at the ATM installed in our Apt complex, located adjacent to MORE Super Market ,

1. PLEASE CHANGE THE PIN IMMEDIATELY at any other SBI ATM Machine.

2. Do not use this ATM for some more time .

REASON:

According to the phone call I received an hour ago, from SBI Regional Branch, Tambaram , there were repeated attempts to hack the PIN of ATM Cards used in this ATM recently.

( I called back to the Bank again at the same mobile number which was the official phone of the SBI. So, the information received bv me  was not fake.). 

Please pass on this infomration to all known persons with SBI ATM Card.

As the ATM cubicle is still pen, I rang up again to the SBI Branch to close it till the investigations are over.
